The infirmary provides routine medical care for the campers and emergency care. Medical resources include emergency medications, oral and IV antibiotics, IV fluids and treatment for minor emergencies. Routine and emergency blood work is drawn at Camp and sent to a local hospital. If x-rays are needed they are done at a local hospital.
Routine medical care we provide includes: medication administration (oral, IV, sub cutaneous), central line care, lab draws, factor infusions, tube feedings, IV fluids, nebulizer treatments, and more.
Minor medical problems (minor cuts, ear infections, sore throats, vomiting, sprains, etc.) can be handled at Camp. Emergency medical care is provided as needed (IV antibiotics for fever, pain medications, IV fluids, etc).
