Why I Joined the Team
In November 2007 I ran the New York Marathon on behalf of the Hole in the Wall Gang Camps and raised $3000 ($2500 through my old MySpace blog) - enough to send one seriously ill child to camp for one week.
This time I plan to run the Athens Marathon in October and raise $1,000,000 on behalf of the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps - enough to send an army of seriously ill children from around the world to camp for a life-enhancing experience - but I need your help.
I'm looking for One Million individuals to donate just $1 each - that's it. Once you've donated, if you could then spread the word and encourage everyone you know on Twitter/Facebook to also donate $1 each to become a member of this life-changing Millionaire's Club.

As a member of Team Hole in the Wall, I am using my participation in the Team Challenge program as a way to raise funds for and bring awareness to Hole in the Wall Camps. Please help me reach (or even exceed!) my goal by clicking on my Support button. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Every summer at Hole in the Wall Camps, hundreds of children become athletes and actors, painters and poets, swimmers and singers, clowns and canoe paddlers, naturalists, equestrians, and hot air balloonists. It is amazing what these campers accomplish in one week; just as amazing are the obstacles they overcome on a daily basis, for these children suffer from serious illnesses such as cancer, sickle cell anemia, HIV/AIDS, and hemophilia. Camp helps keep them going – throughout the many challenges of serious illness.
Since 1988, Hole in the Wall Camps have served more than
135,000 campers* with more than
150 specific medical conditions from all
50 states and
39 countries,
free of charge. Hole in the Wall Camps were the dream of actor Paul Newman, who started the first camp in Connecticut.
